If you own a JVC car stereo, it’s likely that you have keys to unlock the unit. However, if you don’t have keys, there are a few ways to remove the stereo without them. The first way is to use a plunger. Push the plunger all the way down into the stereo and pull it out. The second way is to use a vacuum cleaner with the hose attachment. Put the vacuum cleaner tube over one of the speakers and turn it on. The suction will pull out any screws that are holding down the stereo.
