If you have a car with glued-on rims, there is a quick and easy way to remove the glue. All you need is acetone, a cloth, and patience.

  1. Start by cleaning the area where the glue is located. Use acetone to clean off any dirt or residue that may be on the surface. Make sure to get into all of the nooks and crannies.
  2. Once the area is clean, place the cloth over the area and press down firmly. The pressure will cause the acetone to seep through the cloth and dissolve the glue. Be patient – it may take several minutes for all of the glue to be removed.
  3. Once all of the glue has been removed, you can polish or wax your rims as desired ..
