If you’re ever going to remove old 3M tape from a car, it’s a good idea to do it in stages. First, take off the protective cover on the back of the tape. Then cut off one end of the tape and peel it off like a piece of paper. Next, cut off the other end of the tape and peel it off like a piece of paper. Finally, cut down one end of each strip and place them over the edge of the car so that they form an “X” shape. Now use your fingers to push and pull on each strip until all of them are removed from the car.
