If you’re like most people, you love the look of a freshly polished car. But if you’re like most people, you also love the convenience of not having to take off your shoes to get in. Unfortunately, shoe polish can be a real pain to remove from car windows. Here are four tips for getting it off without leaving a mess:

  1. Use a hairdryer: If your car has a window that opens in the back, try using a hairdryer on low heat to heat up the polish and make it easier to remove. Just be sure not to overheat the glass or you could damage it.
  2. Use soap and water: If your car has windows that open in the front, try using soap and water on a cloth to clean them and then wipe them dry with another cloth. Be sure to use warm water if your polish is really stubbornly stuck on there.
  3. Try boiling water: Boil some water in a pot and pour it over the polish until it starts bubbling. Let it cool slightly before wiping it off with a cloth or paper towel. Be careful not to let any steam escape from the pot or you could end up scalding yourself!
  4. Use acetone: If all else fails, try using acetone on a cloth to remove the polish completely. Just be careful not to breathe in any fumes – acetone is highly flammable! ..
