When you design an illustration, it’s important to keep in mind the order in which the elements will appear. This is especially important when you’re working with vector illustrations, where each element can be moved around easily. To help keep things organized, you can use a tool called “order bars.” Order bars are a series of lines that indicate the order in which elements should be drawn. They can be found at the bottom of every panel or on the left side of every object. To create an order bar, simply drag one of the lines up or down to indicate how many times each element should be drawn. You can also use a keyboard shortcut to create an order bar: Cmd-O (or Command-O). Once you’ve created an order bar, it’s easy to move it around by dragging it from one panel to another or from one object to another. Just make sure that your dragged line doesn’t cross any other lines or objects!
