When you’re working with images in Photoshop, it’s important to select the entire image rather than just a small part. This will help you keep your work organized and make it easier to edit. To select the entire image, use the selection tools (the left and right arrows on the keyboard). When you’ve selected all of the pixels in an image, press OK to close the selection. To select a small part of an image, use one of the following methods:

  1. Choose a layer and then press Command+I to create a copy of the entire image on that layer. This will give you a selection area that’s smaller than the original image.
  2. Choose an object or layer inside your selection area and then press Command+V to paste it into the original image. This will paste all of the pixels from that object or layer into the selection area.
