If you’re like most graphic designers, you probably use Illustrator to create your designs. And if you’re like most graphic designers, you probably have a lot of artboards - each of which can hold a different type of design. But how do you select multiple artboards in Illustrator? Here’s how:

  1. Open the Illustrator file that you want to work with.
  2. Select the Artboard tool (it’s in the Tools panel on the left side of the screen).
  3. Click and drag to select all the artboards in your file. (If there are any hidden artboards, they’ll be revealed.)
  4. Release the mouse button when you’ve selected all the artboards you want to work with.
  5. In the Artboard Options bar at the top of the screen, click on Select All Artboards… . (Alternatively, press Ctrl+A/Command+A.)
  6. The selected artboards will be highlighted in blue - and they’ll also have a checkmark next to them in the Artboard list on the right side of the screen. (If there are any hidden artboards, they’ll be revealed and have a cross next to them.)
  7. To deselect an artworkboard, simply click on it again in either list and it will disappear from view - or press Delete (or Backspace if it’s keyboard-only mode). ..
