Spot color is a common feature in illustrations, and it can be used to add interest and brightness to your designs. However, spot color can also be a problem if you don’t know how to separate it from the rest of your design. Here’s how to do it:

  1. Start by creating a new layer on your canvas. Name this layer “Spot Color.”
  2. In the Layers palette, click on the “Separate Colors” button. This will create a new layer with three colors in it: red, green, and blue.
  3. Drag one of the colors from the Spot Color layer into the main color channel of your canvas. For example, if you drag red into the red channel, your canvas will now have two colors: red and green.
