If you’re like most people, you probably use Illustrator to create logos, icons, and other graphics. But did you know that you can also use it to show the appearance panel in your illustrations? In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to do it. First, open up your illustration in Illustrator and select the Appearance panel by clicking on the triangle next to the panel’s name in the Tools panel. (If it’s not visible, click on the triangle next to the Appearance icon in the toolbar.) Now, click on the disclosure triangle next to the Background color section and select a different color from the Color Picker that appears. (You can also type a color into the text field below.) Next, click on the disclosure triangle next to Transparency and select 100% from the Transparency Picker that appears. This will make your background completely transparent. Finally, click on OK to close out of the Appearance panel and return to your illustration. You’ll now see that all of your layers have been updated with these new settings! ..
