If you’re like most people, you probably have a controller for your PlayStation 4. But if you’re like me, you don’t know how to sync it to your console. Luckily, there’s a way to do this without having to go through the trouble of buying a new controller. All you need is an old PlayStation 4 and an Xbox One controller. To sync the controllers, first make sure that both controllers are connected to your console. Then open up the PlayStation 4’s settings and select “System Settings.” Under “Network & Connection,” select “Network.” If your controllers are not connected, check for updates on your controllers by going to “Settings” on the PlayStation 4 and selecting “Update Controller Software.” Once updates have been installed, reconnect your controllers and reopen the PlayStation 4 settings. Now under “System Settings,” select “Controller Settings.” Under “Device Name,” enter the name of the old controller and press OK. Under “Configuration,” select “Auto Sync.” Now press OK again and close out of the settings menu. Your controllers will now be synced!
