If you’re looking to take apart your Playstation 4, there are a few things you’ll need before getting started. The first is a Phillips head screwdriver. Second, you’ll need some pliers and a small flathead screwdriver. Third, you’ll need some electrical tape and a soldering iron. Fourth, you’ll need some patience and some skill with the Phillips head screwdriver. To start, remove the four screws that hold the front panel of the Playstation 4 in place. Once they’re out, gently pull the front panel off of the console. Be careful not to lose any screws or other pieces during this process! Next, remove the six screws that hold down the motherboard tray. Again, be careful not to lose anything during this process! Once those screws are out, gently lift up the motherboard tray and set it aside. Now it’s time to take apart the console’s internals! Start by removing all of the cables from around the motherboard tray using your pliers. Next, disconnect all of the connectors on either side of the motherboard using your small flathead screwdriver. Finally, disconnect all of the connectors on top of the motherboard using your electrical tape and soldering iron if necessary. Be sure to label each connector as you go so that you can reattach them in reverse order when you’re finished! Once everything is disconnected, it’s time to clean everything up! Use your Phillips head screwdriver to remove any dust or debris from around both boards before reassembling them into their original positions. Make sure everything is properly seated before replacing all ofthe screws and cables in their proper locations! ..
