If you’re like most people, you probably have a lot of videos stored on your PlayStation 4. Whether you’re a gamer or just enjoy watching movies and TV shows, there’s no doubt that having all of those videos stored on your console is a bit of a mess. Luckily, there are ways to transfer those videos to your computer without having to worry about them getting lost or corrupted. Here are five tips to help you transfer PS4 videos to your computer:

  1. Make sure that the video format that the PlayStation 4 uses is supported by your computer. If not, you may need to convert the video into one that is compatible.
  2. Extract the video files from the PlayStation 4 game disc into a new folder on your computer. This will give you more space in which to store the videos.
  3. Open up Sony Vegas Pro and create an output file called “ps4-video-transfer-output”. This will be used as the source for transferring the videos.
  4. Drag and drop the ps4-video-transfer-output file into Sony Vegas Pro and click start encoding. You’ll be asked for some basic information about your computer, such as its operating system and graphics card type. After encoding is complete, click save as to finish saving the file to your computer’s hard drive.
  5. Open up Sony Vegas Pro and select “ps4-video-transfer” from the File menu in order to start transferring the videos
