HP Pavilion models have a pop-up blocker that can be turned off. To do this, open the Control Panel and click on the System icon. Then click on the Advanced System Settings icon. Scroll down to the bottom and click on the Pop-Up Blocker tab. Underneath, you will see a list of items that need to be enabled for pop-up blockers to work properly. If any of these items are not enabled, pop-up blockers will not work properly. To enable these items, click on them and then press OK.
