If your car won’t start, there’s a good chance that you need to use a screwdriver to start it. Here’s how:
- Open the hood of your car.
- Find the battery and unscrew it.
- Find the starter motor and unscrew it.
- Remove the screws that hold the starter motor in place and set them aside.
- Insert the screwdriver into one of the holes on either side of the starter motor and turn it until it starts to spin freely (it should only take a few turns). Be careful not to over-turn the screwdriver, or you may damage your motor!
- Replace the screws that held the starter motor in place and reattach the battery cable. Close up your hood and start your car! ..
