Google Now is a feature of Android that lets you control your phone’s settings and notifications in a more personalized way. You can access it by pressing the three lines in the top left corner of your screen, or by opening the Google Now Launcher and selecting “Google Now.” To get started, open Google Now and type in your phone’s name. For example, if you have Android 4.4 KitKat installed, type “Android 4.4 KitKat” into Google Now to get started. You can also use voice commands to access Google Now: say “OK Google” to start getting information about your current location, “Hey Google” to ask for information about a specific topic, or “N/A” to turn off all notifications for that day. You can also access Google Now from any screen where you have an internet connection: on your lock screen, in the notification shade on your home screen, or even while you’re using another app!
