Photoshop is a software program used for creating graphics, photos, and other types of art. It can be used to create images that are either digital or print-friendly. To use Photoshop, you first need to install it on your computer. Once it is installed, open it up and click on the “File” menu item. From here, you will need to select “Open.” Then, type in the following information into the “File Name” field: “psd.” Once you have entered the file name correctly, click on the “Open” button and Photoshop will start up. Once it is up and running, you will need to select one of its tabs in order to begin working with it. Thetabs that Photoshop typically uses are the “Graphic,” “Photo,” or “Text.” Once you have chosen a tab, you will need to open up a new document by clicking on the “New” button at the top of the screen. Then, enter a name for your document and click on the “Create” button. After clicking on this button, Photoshop will create a new document based off of your selection.
