When working with illustrations, it is often helpful to have multiple artboards. This allows you to work on different parts of a design at the same time, and then combine them into a final product. To create a multiple artboard feature in Illustrator, follow these steps:

  1. Open Illustrator and click the New button.
  2. In the resulting window, select an image or canvas as your source.
  3. Click the OK button to create a new artboard.
  4. To add additional images or canvases to your new artboard, select them from the list on the left side of the window and click the Add button.
  5. When you’re finished adding images or canvases to your new artboard, click the OK button again to close it out of Illustrator.
